Jan 20, 2024 Monacan Tribal Hall BIA Presentation Land Into Trust

 https://youtu.be/RWTFZnnBPz8 Representatives from the Eastern Region Office of the BIA upon request from the Branham Faction on January 20, 2024, gave a presentation for Land Into Trust.  This video shows interaction and Eric Wilcox (Deputy Director of the Eastern Region) gives a statement on behalf of the Eastern Regional Office with regard to their direction for MIN Tribal Leadership.  As explained in the video, the Eastern Regions stance is in violation of 43 CFR 4.314 since the appeal being filed on September 7, 2023 was received by the Eastern Region, and pre-docketing notice was distributed on October 4, 2023 by the IBIA.

However, that is being challenged due to the current dispute as to which tribal election will determine the recognized tribal leadership for the Nation.
